As one of the EM writers pointed out in an old post, soaring is almost effortless:

Eagles do not fly, they soar: Flying causes a lot of energy because you have to flap constantly. This is almost like us trying to get through the day without God. We are constantly flapping around in pandemonium, just trying to stay afloat. But an eagle soars. This means to glide without effort using the force from “opposing” winds below. These opposing winds are the opposing forces that we try to deal with on our own. But we have to fly above that and allow God to deal with the wind beneath our wings. All we have to do is soar!

Thanks for sharing!Kristenhttp://empowermoments.orgnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6669975523560017720.post-26031986886605939362011-06-13T07:05:45.679-04:002011-06-13T07:05:45.679-04:00Tosha, great post. God wants us to serve, go where we are needed and be the conduit through which miracles manifest. On the other hand, God doesn't want us to wear ourselves out or stray from our path and purpose to make up for those who aren't honoring their own gifts or who constantly suck up your and the energy of others. All of us must be careful to conserve our energy for the path and purpose God has in store fo us and so that we remain healthy and whole. Thank you for this reminder that we need to care for ourselves as well as those around us.Michael Reneehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14687585236727203398noreply@blogger.com
